The Angola Fashion Week is ready to welcome three of the most successful fashion models in the world: Sharam Diniz, Maria Borges and Débora Montenegro. Three names that will lend to the Angola Fashion Week 2016 their talent, beauty and glamour.
Since the beginning of her career, she was awarded with many prizes, such as the 1st place in The Office & Look Magazine Model Search contest, in England, or the 1st place in the Super Model of the World 2010, in Portugal. She was also the cover of Vogue and GQ and a Victoria’s Secret Angel. In 2014, she stared the L’instant Chanel – Watches Spring advertising campaign, for the prestigious brand Chanel.
She left her mark in names like Givenchy, Jean Paul Gaultier, Kenzo, Pacco Rabanne, Tom Ford, Oscar de la Renta, Monique Lhuillier, Zac Posen, MaxMara, Tommy Hilfiger and Forever 21. Just a small sample of what makes Maria Borges one of Angola’s fashion models with more international status.
At an early age, she started to walk firmly in the fashion world. With just 17 years old she accomplished to be the first Portuguese fashion model to feature in an advertising campaign for El Corte Inglés, in Portugal. Soon, she began to feature in more advertising campaigns, for several brands. Being a frequent presence in the Portuguese national television, she frequently appears in various soap operas and hosts some TV shows.
